Common Questions

Home staging is the process of preparing a home for sale by highlighting its best features and creating an environment that appeals to buyers’ psychology. To stand out in a competitive market, your property needs to be as appealing as possible. Home staging focuses on what buyers need to see and feel when they walk through a home to inspire them to make an offer straight away.

Home staging is about making a home appealing to the widest range of buyers possible, while interior design focuses on one person’s personal taste. In home staging, everything is kept neutral so that buyers can envision themselves living there with their belongings. While homeowners may love their personal décor, this can make it difficult for buyers to picture their own belongings in the space.

Home staging can be a completely do-it-yourself process with the help of staging guides. However, professional home stagers often see things that others don’t and can give you a personalised evaluation of your home to give it the best chance of standing out from the competition. Some home stagers also have warehouses full of décor, artwork, and furniture to save you from hours of looking and purchasing things you don’t need.

Several studies show that home staging helps homes sell faster and for more money than non-staged homes. Once staged, homes spend an average of 73% less time on the market and buyers are willing to spend 1% to 5% more on a staged home than a non-staged home. In today’s competitive housing market, home staging is one of the best marketing strategies.

Home staging can fit any budget and can be minimal depending on your situation. We offer a variety of services to fit everyone’s needs, such as staging guides for DIY enthusiasts, virtual home staging, soft staging, and full-service staging.

Our fee to stage empty properties starts from £1,595 + VAT for a studio/one reception property, with on average a £400 + VAT charge for each additional room or space.

Our fee for a consultation visit (up to one hour) to provide recommendations for obtaining the best sale price in the shortest time is £120 + VAT. The staging inventory and proposal are included in the staging fee, but this consultation fee is payable if you choose not to proceed with staging.
